Jim Butcher is a best selling author. Jim Butcher audio books allow
busy people to enjoy his writing.
Jim Butcher is the author of the New York Times best selling series
the Dresden Files. Which are about a wizard who lives in the city of
Chicago and works for a special agency solving super natural crime
mysteries. Supernatural thrillers are all the rage lately especially
with the Twilight stories taking off as well as they did. If you are
into supernatural crime stories then this might be up your
alley. There is a bit of humor, mystery, magic a little bit of
everything with in this series of books. The Dresden Files consist of
8 books and all are in audio form or book form.
Another series by Jim Butcher is the Codex Alera series. This is a
bit more of a fantasy series. It's a best selling series just like his
Dresden Files series. Only this time instead of supernatural in the
real world, this series is a fantasy. It involves politics, religion
and a whole made up region, there are also epic battles fought in this
series. Fantasy isn't for everyone and it might not be to your liking
but it's always a great escape. Jim Butchers great story telling comes
alive in this series of books. This series has 6 books and at the
moment is complete. There are no talks of future books but there is
always a possibility of more books to come. These books come in all
forms, hardback, paperback, and audio versions of the books.
Although these two series might sound entertaining what if you
don't have time to read all those books? Some Jim Butcher audio books
are the answer to this. This allows people to be able to enjoy the
writing of Jim Butcher but not have to sit down and read the
books. Instead they can listen to the stories while they exercise,
cook dinner, clean the house, or do other odds and ends. Having this
ability allows people to catch up with this best selling author and
hear a great story or two but not have to take the time to sit down
and physically read a book, which there isn't always time to do
that.
